In addition to homebrewing, I’ve also recently gotten into smoking meats. So don’t be surprised if you see a few blog posts about smoking delicious ribs and pork butts pop up once and a while.
For smoking, I have a Weber Smokey Mountain 18.5″ which has just been fantastic. I can’t say enough about Weber products in general. Yes, they cost a little more on the front side, but you won’t have to replace them in just a year or two.
My wife actually let me smoke our Thanksgiving turkey in 2014. She doesn’t love having the stress of the main course on her plate anyways, so it really didn’t take much convincing. Here are some photos of my smoked Thanksgiving turkey feast:
